1939: Creation of Société Industrielle de Transmissions (SIT). 100% subsidiary of Kleber Colombes dedicated to the sale of belts to industry.

1945: The Société Industrielle de Transmission (SIT) manufactured pulleys in Levallois-Perret . Raw casting parts are sourced from Raon l’Etape foundry.

1955: Manufacturing under licence of HANSEN gearboxes.
Integration of the foundry within S.I.T.

1960: Transfer of the pulley factory from Levallois to Raon L’Etape.

1987: S.I.T. is part of HANSEN & becomes Hansen S.I.T

1991: New foundry is built on the current Raon L’Etape site.

1999: BROOK HANSEN enters the REXNORD group after the merger of BTR & Siebe that created the holding company INVENSYS.

2002: INVENSYS sells the REXNORD group to CARLYLE

2003: BROOK HANSEN becomes REXNORD S.A. PTP OPERATION.

2006: CARLYLE sells REXNORD to APOLLO

2008: REXNORD sells the Raon factory to 3 members of the management team
